| Gigbuilder was originally first in production in around 1997 when the internet was fastly becoming the future of communication. At this time, Scott Rosenberg (owner) had written the product himself to use to maximize his profits, keep more organized, and automate his DJ business.
After showing the product to a handful of friendly competitors, it became apparent that others would like to use such a product for their business, which they did.
